Does AZC.COM offer secure transactions?

For now, we support secure transactions for our Business and Commerce Plans customers using our own VeriSign Digital Certificate via AZC.COM's secure server secure.azc.com.

Please note that a true secure transaction requires an end to end secure data path. In other words, there must be not only a secure channel for data coming to your Web site hosted by AZC.COM, but also such a channel from your Web site to your computer(s).

The following are FACTS:

• ordinary email is not secure, even with coded content. Unless the content of an email is encrypted, it's not secure.
• ordinary FTP is not secure.
• ordinary telnet is not secure.

The implication of all above is that if an ISP just running secure servers, but not providing a secure way of sending information back to your computer from the ISP's computer(s), it can NOT provide you true, end to end secure transactions.

To provide our Business and Commerce Plans customers a true, and extremely cost effective yet convenient way of conducting end to end secure transactions, AZC.COM provides a handy utility to such customers for retrieving any information that they regard as sensitive from their Web sites.
